Frustration!

I know that there are healthcare workers out there that give their patients the best care possible. I am very frustrated with those who don't. My Mom has either been in the hospital or in a rehab center for the past 3 months. During this time I found that if I am not present, the care she receives is minimal. Having a full-time job and living an hour away, I can not be there all the time. I have no brothers, sisters, father or children to help me out.  Because of this I have had to come to grips with the fact that when I am not there my Mom, who is legally blind, is lonely and sick with only the radio to entertain her and she is only receiving care that is absolutely necessary. Fortunately she has had one or two people who have cared for her in a loving way, going above and beyond. I know these people by name and I am very grateful that they do their job with such compassion and care. Thank you Yvonne, Janie and Annie!
